The Houston County Band Program serves over 300 students daily and includes four concert ensembles, a jazz ensemble, a percussion ensemble, and the Black and Silver Brigade marching band. The Black and Silver Brigade performs at all home football games and competes throughout the state of Georgia. Bands at Houston County High School have consistently received Superior ratings at adjudicated events throughout the Southeast. Students have been selected for numerous honor bands, including the Georgia All-State Band, the South Georgia Region Band, and the Governor's Honors Program.
